This article aims to discuss the term arteveg and present some extension actions for the promotion and socialization of research carried out within the scope of Scientific Initiation. The text is divided into three topics: “The connection”, “Arteveg: art of reverence for life” and “Extension actions: socializing research”. Initially, the writing addresses a little of the authors' relationship with the theme and with non-human animals. Subsequently, we sought to substantiate the term arteveg through authors such as Albert Schweitzer, Nicolas Bourriaud, Félix Guattari and Katia Canton. For this, animal rights, micropolitics and art were contextualized as a manifestation for critical, sensitive and transforming awareness of reality. From the search and from extension actions we promote respect and sensitivity towards non-human animals. It can be seen that arteveg can be a path of attitudes towards the right to life of all beings.
