The present study, aimed mainly at newcomers in research, aims to assist in the elaboration of the Research Project, exposing in a clear and organized way, the main themes and elements of a research project. The structure of the research project is explored: title, introduction, literature review, methodological procedures, bibliography, schedule and budget, detailing each of these items. The aim is to present the aspects that make up the Research Project, highlighting the main points and presenting the steps for the elaboration of the scientific study by the researchers. Following the phases proposed here, it will be possible to observe that it is not difficult to prepare a good Research Project. The methodology used is classified as bibliographic, pure, qualitative and descriptive. The study is based on works by Marina de Andrade Marconi, Eva Maria Lakatos, Antonio Carlos Gil and other renowned scholars.
