In this text, we intend to report the experience lived in the extension project “Teaching Libras as L2: training Libras teachers” - UFCG/PROBEX 2018, whose main objective was to promote the training of deaf teachers and Letters Libras students (deaf and listeners) for the teaching of Libras as L2, supported by socio-discusive interactionism and bilingual education for the deaf. For this, we present the developed actions: theoretical studies; videos with PROBEX 2017 flag genres; and didactic proposals for the genres elaborated by the extensionists for teaching Libras as L2. We believe that this formative process contributed to resize their conceptions and pedagogical practices of teaching Libras (L2).
