This paper presents a web-based educational system for creating multimedia presentations of cultural objects. Through a 3D association engine, multimedia content such as text, images, video and audio can be associated with the 3D model or user-de-fined regions of interest. From these associations, multimedia pre-sentations are automatically generated by the system. The system makes it possible to view multimedia presentations of high resolu-tion 3D models in web browsers. The proposed solution is inten-ded for academics and students of cultural heritage. Teachers can create interactive multimedia presentations for remote study of objects. Professionals from areas related to cultural heritage pre-servation can also collaborate with their personal data collection to create rich presentations.
