The incredible tool of hypnosis that for millennia produced changes in human consciousness through rituals, mystical processes and manifestations of animal magnetism, which fascinated Freud through his masters: Charcot, Bernheim and Liébeault; who expanded into Pavlov’s physiological experimentalism and who won the academic world with the naturalistic techniques of Milton Erickson, is now being used in a university extension project. The Hypnos in Schools project has been dedicated to working with students, teachers and parents of elementary, middle and high school students, based on the Education and Health Center of the UFCG, based in the city of Cuité-PB, using hypnosis , philosophy, PNL, psychoanalysis and neuroscience in mini-courses, lectures, talk wheels organized in the form of interactive environments and collective experiences and also through hypnotherapy in individualized sessions. We deal with the main emotional disorders present in the student public: anxiety, depression, difficulty concentrating, procrastination, phobias and food compulsions, many of these manifestations linked to unconscious processes and limiting internal beliefs, but we also try to reflect, from this perspective, on the challenges and potentialities of pedagogical action in the teaching-learning process, aimed at the practice of a more humane, citizen-based, supportive education that contemplates all the emotional processes involved.
