Academic, procedural and organic university extension
a teacher training project

The Brazilian university extension has European and North American influences in the constitution of the conception of extension activities. For many years the conception was that of service provision and assistencialism. In recent years the conception begins to show signs of change, moving towards the constitution of the academic conception, with a procedural and organic characteristic. The discussion about academic, procedural and organic extension is still in a process of understanding and is not very present in the scenario of debates and research. The objective of this article is to present an experience of an extension project with an academic, procedural and organic conception, carried out by GEFOPI - Study Group on Teacher Training and Interdisciplinarity, from the State University of Goiás. The extension project is the ENFORMA - Teacher Training Meeting, whose goal is the initial and continued training of academics and teachers. In 2017, three meetings were held and in 2018, eight are aimed.
