THE WORK OF THE SCHOOL TUTOR IN THE STATE EDUCATION SYSTEM IN GOIÁS

This article analyzes the work of the school tutor in the context of the current educational public policies formulated by the state education system of the State of Goiás. The research was carried out through bibliographical and documentary studies. The results show that educational public policies tend to interfere in the autonomy of the school tutor in its training and management dimension of school work, by directing their actions towards the achievement of educational results in large-scale assessments.
