BLACK PEDAGOGIES: ANTI-RACISM, GOOD LIVING AND CORPOREALITY

Black Pedagogies comprise ways of doing, thinking and being able to transform and question knowledge and practices already established in Western pedagogies. It also problematizes the proposals generated within the scope of Black teaching and learning practices. In an effort to understand, we discuss anti-racism, Black women's thinking and corporeality in the light of three methodological strategies – multiplicity, complexity and interdependence, revealing understandings about the learning-teaching-creating processes that shape black pedagogies. Finally, we consider that these pedagogies mobilize the struggle for rights in its various dimensions, especially the right to difference, as a fundamental and inalienable right.
