NEOLIBERALISM AND EDUCATION

Este ensaio teórico objetiva problematizar o neoliberalismo a partir das contribuições de Michel Foucault, compreendendo-o como uma racionalidade que articula uma sofisticação do poder biopolítico. Se lança a tecer notas que almejam problematizar os recentes acontecimentos no nosso país, percebendo cada vez mais, pautas neoliberais se alargando dentro do campo da educação sob os signos do progresso e da inovação, onde o “Future-se” e “Novos Caminhos” enquanto programas neoliberais bolsonaristas, de um lado articula a defesa de uma privatização e a desnacionalização da educação pública e do outro fomenta ideários e práticas conservadoras e autoritárias.
