Abstract

Th is essay deals with training experience of the History students fromCatholic University of Salvador, carried out in three public schools in the city ofSalvador and in the Public Archive of Bahia. Th is article analyzes the relationshipbetween the formation of future professional and the curricular period of trainingfrom theoric arguments that incorporates teaching workshops. For these students,the practical activities in schools and in Public Archive brought the possibility of acritical view about their formation and other work fi elds for the teacher, perceivingthe importance of the training as one form of complementing the learning.
