Práticas dos profissionais de Educação Física na atenção psicossocial em saúde mental

Abstract

This study analyzed the practices developed by physical education professionals in psychosocial care for mental health through an integrative systematic review. The data collection  included publications from Scielo, PUBMED, CAPES Periodicals Portal, and BVS databases from 2013 to March 2024. The keywords included words such as physical education and psychosocial care, physical education and CAPS (Portuguese acronym for Psychosocial Care Centers), body practices and psychosocial care. A total of 16 articles were found. The studies highlight the potential of the practices carried out by physical education professionals in psychosocial rehabilitation processes, as well as in mental health promotion.
