This article aimed to analyze how phenomenology has been presented in theses produced in the area and field of Physical Education. Through narrative review, 15 theses selected from the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations between 2015-2025 were analyzed. The theoretical framework of Merleau-Ponty and themes such as body, corporeality, movement, cycling, sailing, language, and dance predominated. Qualitative approaches, case studies, and autobiographies were adopted in the research. This study contributes to broadening the understanding of phenomenology in Physical Education by proposing the recognition of the body as the subject of research. The appreciation of singularities and methodological diversity emerge as expressive features of the analyzed research.
