Novas Diretrizes Curriculares de Educação Física: um estudo de caso envolvendo a Resolução n° 6 de 18 de dezembro de 2018 e professores da Universidade Federal de Sergipe

Resolution No. 6 of December 18, 2018, reignited the debate on the format of the curriculum and professional training in the field of Brazilian Physical Education. As a result, this research, characterized as a case study with a qualitative approach, aimed to understand the current discussion arising from the new resolution, also using Pierre Bourdieu’s Field Theory for such analysis. Thus, we inventoried and analyzed, first, Resolution No. 6/2018 and then, we operated an analysis of the considerations of the Commission responsible for the propositional text that aims to meet the Curricular Reformulation of the Department of Physical Education of the Federal University of Sergipe, evidencing problems, conflicts, and tensions.
