“Pode até ser lésbica, mas precisa escrever essa palavra?”: uma revisão sobre produções acadêmico-científicas sobre lesbianidades e Educação Física

Abstract

 This manuscript aimed to search and present scientific productions that address lesbianities in scientific journals in the Physical Education area of ​​knowledge. We propose to select scientific journals whose scope clearly relates to the PE. After choosing the Journals (Qualis Capes A1 to B4), we searched for productions with the descriptors “Lesbian/s; Lesbianity/ies; Lesbophobia/s; Sapatão/Dyke; Lesbianism.” In 34 scientific journals selected,  we found only 4 scientific productions whose theme refers to lesbianities. Despite growing efforts and interest in channeling lesbian thought as a production practice of feminist movements, theoretical productions/ethical-political projects conceived by lesbian authors and/or researchers, occupy a timid space in the process of knowledge production in Physical Education.
