Neuroaesthetics of dance: a neurobiological analysis of the viewer

The aim of the study was to identify changes in neurobiological mechanisms when watching a dance according to the spectator's aesthetic experience. This is a literature review with data search carried out in the Pubmed, Web of Science and Portal de Periódicos CAPES databases from January 2020 to August 2021. as posterior superior temporal sulcus, central zones of the dorsal and ventral pathways of the visual cortex, send information to the parietal and premotor cortex activating the action observation network, these findings are important to better understand the exchange and gains between the dancer and spectator.
