Abstract

This article aims to analyze the academic production of Conbrace and the School Physical Education Seminar on the teaching of athletics at school. It is a descriptive, qualitative study. A literature review was carried out in the annals of these events (2017; 2019) and 29 studies were selected for analysis. The results show a prevalence in the publications of experience reports (86.20%) and little empirical research. The basic education school is identified as a favorable place for conducting research, especially the public school where 79.31% of the studies took place. The pedagogical practices developed at school are the main sources of experience reports, and it seems that they are starting to gain space in congresses and scientific journals.
