The aim of this study was to assess the perception of children and their guardians regarding the effects of a regular Yoga practice performed at school. The results were analyzed using the Collective Subject Discourse (DSC) methodology that built, from the collected statements, groups of discourses that represented the experiences lived by the collective. According to the reports of the children and their guardians, improvements in calmness, concentration and an increase in the quality of social interactions in the children were noticed after the 12 weeks of regular Yoga practice at school, but both parents and children considered the intervention to be of short duration.
