In this study case, we analyse the teaching of gymnastics as an extracurricular practice in a private school in Piracicaba (SP) from non-participant observations and semi-structured interviews. This allows the conclusion that, although it is known as Acrobatic Gymnastics (GACRO, in Portuguese), the project combines characteristics of Collective Acrobacy and Gymnastics for All, a context that is evident through the flexibilization of GACRO sports rules and the adequacy of the practice to the school environment. We also highlight the formation of the responsible teachers and their motivations, the students' profile, the length of stay, the proposed activities and the participation in events – data raised in order to enhance an inclusive pedagogical practice which contributes to the educational process.
