In this article we analyze the inequalities and privileges in the work in Public Health services of a region of Goiânia. We interviewed nine Physical Education professionals from four institutions of the Municipal Health Department of this city. The material collected was analyzed using the Content Analysis technique, with the support of Webqda software. The accumulation of certain cultural capital translated into knowledge and habitus, time of intervention experience, division of labor and professional hierarchies demonstrate power disputes in the professional field, often with the consent of the dominated professions.
