Abstract

Nature has constantly become the focus of interest to many people who go to it due to their need of interaction, for various reasons. In this sense, one tries to broaden the understanding of the universe related to factors which are linked to the consumption of nature and to the awereness of the need for implementation of an environmental education program. This type of education is necessary, as one considers the growing demand for adventure tourism and outdoor physical practices in the scope of leisure. To achieve this understanding, we have undertaken a bibliographic research on the existing studies on the matter, with the aim of pointing to possible contributions to the understanding of this research theme and to stimulate significant interventions in the related fields. KEYWORDS: nature – education – leisure
