Abstract

the domestic feline with sporotrichosis represents an important role in the transmission of the S. schenckii schenckii to other animal species and for the man being growing the increase of the number of zoonotic cases of the mycosis. the study reports three cases of feline sporo-trichosis in semi-domiciled cats, living together in the same neighborhood. the feline presented cutaneous ulcerated and crusted injuries being accomplished the confirmation of the diagnosis after the analysis micológica with the isolation of S. schenckii. the study emphasizes the importance of the domestic feline as diffuser of the sporotrichosis for other animals and for the man itself.
