Pre-Submission Checklist

Before submitting your manuscript, please review the checklist below. Ensuring compliance with these items will reduce processing time and, consequently, accelerate the response to authors.

  1. Have you read the journal’s editorial policies for publication?

  2. Is the article original and not under review by any other journal?

  3. Has the manuscript been written and formatted according to the Author Guidelines?

  4. Are all authors’ details available for entry at the time of submission (full name, institutional affiliation, updated email address, and ORCID)?

  5. Is the Statement of Agreement, signed by all authors, ready to be uploaded with the submission?

  6. Has the Open Science Compliance Form been completed and made available for upload with the submission?

  7. Has the authors’ contribution been included in the Statement of Agreement following the CRediT taxonomy?

  8. For research involving animals or human subjects: Is the approval document from the Animal Ethics Committee or Human Research Ethics Committee available for upload with the submission?

  9. Are the authors aware that, if the manuscript is accepted for publication, they will be responsible for the translation or language revision of the English text? Note: This must be performed by a certified company, preferably one recommended by CAB.
