Abstract

This work, like an ebó or epistemic discharge and redress, seeks to show the crossroads, the shuffling of possibilities of becoming, of becoming in Exu, circumspect in His movement, in His circularity, in the multiplicity of His connections and, mainly, in His ethical and ontological openness to the (re)existence of black humanity in the world. At the crossroads of Exu, several paths emerge in the timelessness, which connect African and Afro-Brazilian ancestries to the multifaceted prism of choices made possible. Now, Exu is freedom to be, to exist at the same time that the best paths are shown, the itineraries of multi-knowledge that, certainly, do not combine with any type of cognitive subservience, repetitive servitude, much less individualism or arrogance. Exu is, in this sense, passage, opening, confirmation and anti-racist philosophical liberation.
