Autismo e ensino de ciências da natureza: o que está sendo produzido na pós-graduação brasileira

Abstract

This study is a bibliographical survey of a postgraduate level production (theses and dissertations) having as source the Digital Library of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology on natural sciences teaching for students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. A qualitative approach was used for the study and contemplates investigated themes, adopted methodologies and main conclusions. Thirteen studies were selected with the following descriptors: Autism; Science Teaching; Chemistry Teaching; and Physics Teaching. Among the main results we highlight that most studies adopt a qualitative approach, are focused on Basic Education, with little investigation in Higher Education. In general, the analysis of the works made it possible to form a view of the productions on the subject, its challenges and also contributed to the outlining of the main characteristics of the research carried out.
