The purpose of this text is to revalue the role of teaching geography as a subject that encourages interdisciplinary work between the contents of the subject programs that make up the fourth-grade curriculum of high school in Mexico. The text is divided into three sections: a) Some definitions of concepts; b) Background of interdisciplinary work in Geography; c) Design of an interdisciplinary proposal based on an example at a local level.
