Territorial Citizenship and the Geographization of Citizenship are reflexive proposals that attempt to reaffirm the need for geographic science to assert itself in the educational plan as a fundamental area for the construction of an active citizen, with an awareness ideal and performance for effectively collective citizenship, in which teacher’s training institutions and the teaching of geography cooperate to the need of demonstrating the role of geography as well as holding the debate on the polysemy of the concepts of collective and participatory citizenship, democracy and spatial justice. It is a priority to highlight the school and the university as the main territories that enable this reaffirmation of geographical science as a protagonist in the formation of the participative citizen geographically committed with their community.
