Through this article, we intended to create a discussion about the importance of the mobilization of the teachers' knowledge in the development of the Geography classes in Elementary Education. Inside this knowledge, it is highlighted the digital literacy of the teachers so they can use digital technologies in their classes, aiming the stimulation of the student's protagonism in the construction of the geographic knowledge. Throughout the text, it is introduced the results of the academic research and reports of the experiences with interns, regarding this subject. As a result of this study, it is possible to indicate the great influence of the education on how to use digital technologies in activities in class, so that teacher can plan a class that mobilizes the knowledge that the students already have to form new knowledges in an autonomous way and not thinking about the use of technologies just as a support to the development of the classes.
