Based on Textual Analysis of Speech, this work studies utterance responsibility, through modality category, and discursive representation, through referentiation and predication categories, stated in Practicum report genre produced by pre-service teachers in English. The result shows that pre-service teachers: a) imputes points of view (PoV) to others, expressing their position of agreement or disagreement; b) expresses their own PoV, based on theoretical and practical experience; and c) creates positive discursive representation of the objects that are related to their own practices. We observed that this genre favored the inscription of students own PoV and positive discursive representations.Downloads
