Abstract

In the aim of presenting a successful experience in science outreach management, which focused on the process of including science outreach to the university curriculum, the present paper is based on transdisciplinarity. Taking into account that the inclusion of science outreach to the curriculum is imposed as provision of law, both in the National Education Plan, in its goal 12.7 and in the body of the constitutional indication of academic inseparability in the universities, it is important to generate critical thinking and present a process of science outreach inclusion to the university curriculum in a way that is dialogic, integrated and circular to research and teaching projects, by raising managers’ and professors’ awareness towards the role of science outreach regarding students’ academic and practical formation, as well as the fulfillment of the university’s social role.
