REVISTA DE QUÍMICA INDUSTRIAL: A TRAJETÓRIA DA QUÍMICA NO BRASIL SOB A ÓTICA DE SUA INDUSTRIALIZAÇÃO
Abstract
Resumo: Este trabalho descreve as características do periódico Revista de Química Industrial (RQI), editada desde 1932. Sua estrutura básica compreende: editorial, artigos técnico-científicos, entrevistas, notícias referentes à química no ensino e na indústria no país e no exterior, e anúncios. Ela foi testemunha viva de todos os acontecimentos relevantes na trajetória da química no Brasil no século XX. Grandes nomes da química nacional contribuíram com artigos e reportagens, pondo a RQI no rol dos periódicos mais importantes de sua área no país. A digitalização do acervo da Revista, ação de extensão do Museu da Química do Instituto de Química da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, permitirá o acesso da sociedade a toda a riqueza de informação que ela contém, mostrando que a importância da química no cenário brasileiro se manifestava desde a década de 1930, antes do surto de industrialização verificado a partir da década de 1950. Os números editados a partir de 1960 já estão disponíveis no portal da RQI.Downloads
