Abstract
As mudanças provocadas desde a Revolução Industrial causaram tal impacto, nos sistemas responsáveis pela manutenção da vida, que se estima que três (mudanças climáticas, taxa de perda da biodiversidade e interferência com o ciclo do nitrogê- nio) dos nove processos sistêmicos e interdependentes do nosso planeta tenham atingido níveis de perturbação incompatíveis com sua estabilidade (ROCKSTRÖM et al, 2009).
