TURISMO NO CERRADO
Abstract
Em busca do sertão A região do Cerrado, localizada na porção mais central do território brasileiro, ainda é pouco expressiva nas estatísticas referentes à demanda turística no Brasil, tanto interna (turistas brasileiros) quanto externa (turistas estrangeiros). Não que a localização geográfica seja, de fato, um empecilho à consolidação da atividade turística na região, mas intervém o fato de que o padrão histórico de ocupação territorial no Brasil sempre privilegiou a franja litorânea e áreas pró- ximas, que concentram a maioria da população. E, claro, lá estão as praias, estas sim, a principal referência (e preferência) turística daqueles que viajam pelo país. (Continua...)Downloads
