Problematizando o ensino de inglês em contexto bilíngue intercultural
Abstract
Será que índios e índias brasileiras têm de aprender inglês? Ou melhor, será que índios e índias brasileiras querem aprender inglês? A resposta a esta segunda pergunta parece ser afirmativa, pois foi esse o objetivo traçado pela coordena- ção do projeto de Licenciatura Intercultural do Núcleo Takinahaky de Forma- ção Superior Indígena da Universidade Federal de Goiás, pelos alunos e alunas professoras e pelas lideranças indígenas. O tema complementar intitulado Inglês Intercultural começou a ser ministrado em janeiro de 2008 com o propósito de trabalhar a leitura de textos em língua inglesa numa perspectiva intercultural.
