It pinpoints the challenges and implications of implementing Artificial Intelligence in courts. Considering the dialogue provided by the bibliographic research and a deductive method, the paper concludes that Artificial Intelligence offers excellent opportunities to support more focused initiatives for the delivery of justice and enables sophisticated measurements of the effectiveness of the justice system, especially in the context of institutionalised practices that combine knowledge of judicial processes with information technology.
