The solidarity is important in social relations and conflict resolution through mediation, as it influences the collective conscience and, consequently, the social group. The study aims to present important aspects about the relationship between mediation and solidarity, as it is a fundamental theme in the resolution of conflicts and the strengthening of social pacification, with emphasis on the doctrine of Émile Durkheim. The methodology used in the study is descriptive and analytical, developed through bibliographic research. It is concluded that solidarity is a relevant value in human action and, as a consequence, a means of achieving and guaranteeing more cooperative forms of conflict resolution such as mediation and restoring social relations responsibly, through dialogue, for individual and group well-being. With education, people learn to value and conduct themselves in all human activities in a peaceful and caring manner.
