Resumo

Música é um dos fortes fatores que mantém a linguagem viva na humanidade, permitindo que fatos históricos permeiem genuínos na mente das pessoas. Neste contexto, os Sefarditas e o Ladino têm significativa contribuição artística em todo o mundo desde a histórica migração forçada da Península Ibérica em 1492. Este artigo enfoca a releitura da canção medieval Sefardita La Prima Vez, no início do século vinte e um, por Owain Phyfe, Pina Bausch e Willy Corrêa de Oliveira. Para este propósito, a análise descritiva baseada na mimeses é usada para resumir e interpretar o caso dos novos desenvolvimentos artísticos em diferentes continentes comprovando a progressão e persistência da música pelo tempo e espaço.

Born in 1976 in Sao Paulo (Brazil), Lilian Tonella starts her studies in piano at the age of 7. In 1984, she enters Piracicaba Music School and during her studying years, among others, she wins prizes in the following national competitions: VII Paulo Giovanni Competition, XI Competition of the Brazilian Musical Youth, I Poços de Caldas Competition, Arão Sahm Competition, V Governador Valadares Competition.

At the age of 14 she has her solo debut with the orchestra. She follows master classes with such teachers as Miguel Proença, Fany Solter, Marco Antonio de Almeida (Brazil), Rudolf Kehrer (Russia), Ludmila Lazar (Yugoslavia), Carlo Bruno (Italy), Klauss Frank (Germany), Angela Tosheva (Bulgary), Yuri Slesariev (Russia).
In 1996 she won a scholarship from the Intermedice Company for two-month tuition to study at the State Academy of Music, Sofia (Bulgary) in the class of the Prof. Viktor Chouchkov.
In 1994 she enters the University of Sao Paulo, Faculty of Communication and Art, where in 1997 she graduates with honors in piano under Prof. Gilberto Tinetti.

In 1998 the Brazilian Ministry of Public Education awards her a scholarship to go on with her Post-Graduate studies at the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow, where in 1999 and 2001 she obtains her Masters and Doctoral degrees with Prof. Natalia Trull and Aleksandr Semetsky. During the same years she gives solo recitals in Russia and in Brazil. She participates with a solo recital in the festival “Stars of the XXI Century” in Samara, where she performs as well as soloist with the Samara State Orchestra, under the direction of M. Michael Sherbakov.

In 2001, besides her piano career, she starts working on her Doctoral papers in Musicology on “Willy Correa de Oliveira’s piano production”, under adviser Vladimir Petrovich Chinaev.

Ms. Tonella began her recording activities in 2003.  For Callisto label, releasing `Virtuoso`, a CD of 19 th century virtuoso fantasies for piano and flute. Followed in 2004 by `Willy Correa de Oliveira piano musics`, for the Brazilian Ministry of Culture.

In 2017 Anadolu University awarded her with the Arts Prize. In 2018, the Council af the Order of Rio Branco of the Ministry ofr Foreign Affairs of Brazil has confered her the Ordem do Rio Branco at level of Official in recognition of the excellence of services rendered to Brazil.

Currently she works as Associate Professor in the piano department of Anadolu University in Turkey.
