Trata-se de uma discussão acerca do "Estudo de Caso" que pretende contribuir com a compreensão dessa modalidade de pesquisa no contexto da dicotomia: "qualitativa?"... "quantitativa?"...
O texto levanta algumas das principais questões da problemática em pauta; analisa elementos controvertidos; aponta respostas que são buscadas hoje entre os pesquisadores; e encaminha para a necessidade de reflexão e aprofundamento acerca das decisões metodológicas.
