About the Journal

Focus & Scope

INTER-AÇÃO is a free quarterly publication of the Faculty of Education of the Federal University of Goiás and its Postgraduate Program in Education (FE/UFG). Its objective is to publish, through a double-blind evaluation system by ad hoc reviewers and members of the Scientific Council, unpublished works resulting from theoretical studies and research in the field of education, covering the following research areas: Education, work, and social movements; State, policies, and history of education; Culture and educational processes; Formation, professionalization of teachers and educational practices; Fundamentals of the educational process.

Peer Review Process

The journal has a committee and an editorial board composed of professors in the field of education and related other fields. The review process follows the double-blind procedures, and in case of conflicting opinions, a new reviewer is called for the tie-breaker. The time of the evaluation up to the answer on the acceptance or not of the submission, according to the demand, is up to 5 (five) months.

Frequency of publication

The format adopted by the journal is full publication, with three issues published each year: April, August and December.

Open Access Policy

Open access for reading, with registration required, which is not mandatory but recommended.

Registration is mandatory for submitting authors as well as for reviewers and all members of the editorial board.

Description and organization

In general, it is structured as follows: Dossier (collection of four or more articles on a pre-defined topic); Other articles (section with articles on various topics); Reviews; Documents; Abstracts of dissertations and theses of the Postgraduate Program in Education of the UFG.

Their elaborations and discussions are of interest to scholars and researchers of various topics related to education, such as educational processes, teacher training, work, social movements, public policies, society, culture, art, language, psychoanalysis, philosophy, history, new technologies, among others.
