Intertextualidades e circulação de informações no norte Britânico
os registros das Crônicas Nortúmbrias (c. 616 – 793)

O objetivo do artigo é revelar uma parte do conteúdo das Crônicas Nortúmbrias escrito a partir do reinado de Edwin da Nortúmbria (r. 616 – 632). Pelos intertextos de três crônicas insulares evidenciamos uma rede de circulação de informações sobre o norte Britânico. Analisamos as intertextualidades a partir das informações repetidas entre a Crônica da Irlanda (Armagh, c. 740 – 911), Crônica Anglo-Saxônica (Winchester, c. 890 – 1154) e Anais de Gales (St. Davids, c. 955 – 1203). Perguntamos: por que emergiram conexões intertextuais na produção de crônicas na Irlanda e Britânia? Sob a metodologia das Histórias Conectadas, nosso argumento central é que as Crônicas Nortúmbrias basearam os registros cronísticos entre o reinado de Edwin e o fim do século VIII.
