notes on a rising epistemological field

Abstract
This work deals with an analysis of the relationship between Gender, Sexuality and Sex Education as founding categories of a rising epistemological field. Thus, the research considered a theoretical works undertaken by Bergamo and Bernardes (2006), Bourdieu (2001), Ciavatta (1995) and Saviani (2007). Data for analysis was retrieved from public repositories regarding these subjects in Brazil. The research data and corpora was analyzed by means of bibliometric parameters and processed by Free Iramuteq Software. Corpora consisted of 821 scholarly works such as Dissertations and Thesis that were organized and interpreted. It is necessary to point out that between Gender, Sexuality and Sex Education are a rising epistemological field, with accompanying increasing intellectual production in various scientiffic hues, whose highlighted interlocutors are Foucault (1999), Scott (1990), Louro (1995; 1997) and Butler (1999). It also seen that there is an increase in the interest of researchers to historicize, reinforce its boundaries as well as to reflect on all the different perspectives, tensions and efforts aiming the consolidation in its various academic fields.
