algumas considerações sobre a especificidade de Bracara Augusta e sua integração ao mundo romano (séculos I-IV)

Abstract

This article makes some considerations about the history of Roman city of Bracara Augusta, with intention of debating the forgotten memory of an opulent urbs, important in northwest of Hispania. In addition it will be debated how archaeological evidence has been an important fundamental instrument in (re) discovery of city since 1976, presentation nuances previously fragmented and oblivious to period overlaps. Therefore, this article aims to make some deliberations about protagonist of city before region and process of population integration in the Roman world.
