O BRASIL NO EPISTOLÁRIO DE SIMON BOLÍVAR: UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE O DESCONHECIMENTO ENTRE AS AMÉRICAS

The analysis of the America independence process makes possible to observe that the political estrategies taken by Portuguese America, on this side, and by Hispanic America, on the other side, motivated the culture of denial among these portions of American territory. In order to identify, in a contemporaniam speech, the denial animation the epistolary of Simon Bolivar was elected like source. In such case, this article presents the speech instituted in the letters of this important leadership, considering especially the references of images dedicated to Brazilian monarchy.
