Abstract

The aim of this study was to comprehend the concept of technique to physical education (PE) professionals which work in health, and how it is addressed with the users in the class context. That is descriptive research with qualitative approach, those interviewed four PE professionals. The data were analyzed by non-aprioristic categories. As a result, the technique was comprehended as a skills set and the refinement of movement with approach related to instruction, demonstration, and accuracy. We concluded that there are conceptual and approach limitations. However, there is a distancing of the technique as something to be acquired by the user, or a standard to be followed as well. This perspective reveals the potential of PE in the context of health.
