The challenges and perspectives of Physical Education teachers in teaching Adventure Physical Practices in the final years of elementary school were analyzed. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with semi-structured interviews conducted with six teachers from two schools in Maringá-PR. Teachers seek to integrate these practices because they foster interdisciplinary actions and the holistic development of students. However, they face difficulties related to controlled risk, indiscipline, and limited specific knowledge. To overcome these challenges, they point to the use of alternative materials, technological resources, and active student participation. In conclusion, the content, distinct from conventional practices, contributes to motor, emotional, and social aspects.
