This study analyzed the processes of professional subjectivation among Physical Education students at UNEB/Campus XII, who belong to the first cohort undergoing training under the curriculum resulting from the reform guided by Resolution CNE/CES 06/2018. Based on a collective narrative procedure (discussion groups), student statements revealed three main subjectivating forces: formative teaching practices, a divided-common curricular design, and the articulations between the labor world and professional imaginaries. The evidenced resonances suggest that the polarizations shaping students’ experiences are more closely linked to the field's historical dichotomy, reconfigured by micropolitical disputes within the curricular device, than to the guidelines themselves.
