In Brazil, a series of Public Policies expanded the supply of Body Practices and Physical Activity (PCAF) to the Brazilian population, however, several social determinants emerged as elements that weaken the quality of supply and access to such services. From the crossing of information through CadÚnico, on the number of families in conditions of extreme poverty, location and maintenance situation of popular gyms in the city of Iguatu-CE, it was possible to observe that the maintenance of gyms is directly demarcated by socioeconomic conditions and power relations, as academies in upscale neighborhoods are preserved, while academies in peripheral neighborhoods are abandoned.
