The Yoga as a curricular component in training academic and professional in Physical Education

The objective of the study was identify how the teaching of Yoga has been provided in the academic and professional training in Physical Education, through the analysis of the Pedagogical Project of Licentiate and/or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education of Federal Universities in Brazil that offer disciplines focused on for such teaching. Based on Content Analysis, of 13 disciplines was categorized, showing the articulation of Yoga with three subareas: health; gymnastics and teaching. It is concluded that the insertion has taking place in 12 courses, but an optional way and with unequal distribution in FU spread Brazil. In addition, with remnants of approximation with gymnastics and the health area, generating gaps in the training of the professional who will work with Yoga.
