A Educação Física no Sistema Único de Assistência Social: considerações a partir de editais de concursos públicos

The aim of this study was to investigate how the work of Physical Education in Social Work has been taking place, since the National Social Assistance Policy does not yet recognize professionals as members of its teams and does not even subsidize guidelines for this. Therefore, we developed a documentary research of non-aprioristic categorization by consulting public tenders and simplified selection processes. Some public notices revealed the importance of the professional in coexistence processes and in socio-educational programs, assuming a welcoming and inclusive posture, preventing and facing situations of social vulnerability, contributing to the inclusion and sense of social belonging of citizens.
