The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects on the psychosocial behavior of Yoga carried out in a public school, in elementary school students. Before and after the intervention, parents and teachers answered the SWAN questionnaire. It was observed that there was an improvement only in the pre and post-intervention periods, according to the parents' observation, in the Oppositor-Challenging Disorder (TOD) variable for the Yoga Group (p – value <0.001), but not for the Control Group (p- value = 0.07). Based on the results, it can be concluded that Yoga practiced inside the school for only 12 weeks did not bring noticeable changes in psychosocial behavior for the children participating in this study.
