The objective of the study was to verify how many women were summoned to leadership positions in the technical commissions of the national men's and women's handball teams. The official summons between the years 2014 and 2020 were analyzed and it was verified how many times men and women were summoned to the study positions. We have a total of 58 calls, there was no call for main coach, only one call for technical assistants and 18 calls for female supervisor. In men, there was no call for women for the positions studied. We conclude that the scenario of high-level Brazilian handball is hegemonically led by men, reflecting gender inequalities in the professional sports field.
